This was my album pick for 9/28. Maroon 5 didn’t steer far from the sound that has helped make them famous. To be honest with them staying in the pocket on this album in a way makes it a #FAIL not unless you’re a fan and you just wanted to hear this 5some get back together. This album seems a tad more rock than usual but still has that chill feel to it. I’d have to say that I’m a Maroon 5 fan so this album delivers for me. But it doesn’t deliver for a new audience….were they even trying to get a new audience?! Adam Levine was right, i think the band has peeked in sound and has done all they can do.
